For this year’s Contact Photography Festival, we are using the full potential of our gallery space to show the work of three photographers, each with a distinct approach to the medium and its narrative potential.
In his fourth solo exhibition at Abbozzo Gallery, Arnold Zageris brings his expertise in nature photography to the Main Gallery, emphasizing the beauty and intricacy of water in its many forms. Zageris has built a career photographing and documenting nature’s harshest environments from the Labrador to the Antarctic and Iceland. For the last three years he has explored the visual qualities of water, capturing its reflections and refractions with a focus on the role of shutter speed and colour in composition. His images delve into the tranquil and dynamic aspects of water, inviting viewers to appreciate the delicate balance between stillness and movement.
