About Alex D'Arcy and Janna Robins Walters
Alex D’Arcy is a Canadian artist who currently lives and works in Toronto. She obtained a Masters in Fine art from Central Saint Martins in London, England, a BFA from the Ontario College of Art and Design, and BA in literature from the University of Toronto. After spending her early childhood on Guernsey a Channel Island between England and France, Alex grew up in Toronto, Canada. Her work is primarily oil on canvas.
Janna Robins Walters creates paintings, collages, drawings, photographs and digital artworks. Born in Toronto, ON. She earned a BFA from Syracuse University in Painting & Illustration, a certificate in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design, a certificate in Computer Graphics & Fine Art from Sheridan College, and courses at the Ontario College of Art and Design, Toronto School of Art, and Project Art. Before full-time art making, Walters worked as an arts administrator, art consultant, curator, illustrator, graphic designer, and teacher. She was Artist-in-Residence at Grand Manan, NB and Artist-in-Residence/Educator at Karma Creative in Toronto. Robins-Walters’ artwork is held in private and public collections across Canada, USA and overseas. She is currently represented by Newzones Gallery of Contemporary Art (Calgary, AB). Gallery133inc.
